Welcome to Murder in Silver Gulch

Howdy, pardner! Welcome to the town of Silver Gulch, 1879, a decade that has brought us such wonders as the phonograph, great books like “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” by Mark Twain, and the incredible expansion of the transcontinental railroad. Now, this may just be a small frontier town, but there’s rumor that silver’s been found in the hills. You betcha’ that this sleepy Western town is soon to become a boomtown! It seems that where there’s good news, bad news tends to follow. Prospector Wylie Chute was found murdered in the street! Some people say that he had struck silver, others say he was cursed, but what really happened is a matter of conjecture. Now that poor Wylie is a goner, and no next of kin to be found, his land claims are going up for auction. All sorts of folks are flocking to Silver Gulch to get in on the action and the saloon is even holding a poker tournament to commemorate the day. Hoowhee, a round of Texas Hold ‘Em is a right fine ticket to some cash winnings! If’n that’s not enough to make you want to paint the town red, there’s also talk about a circus coming into town! Now, what cowpoke wouldn’t go hog wild over seeing a performance like that? So, come on up to Silver Gulch and bend an elbow with the locals, shine up your spurs and your six-shooter, and get your greenbacks ready to lasso yerself some land!
