A: This isn’t a simple question, so it warrants a complex response. The one thing that all Dastardly Deeds Games share in common is that they are role playing games. Every player will have a specific role to play, and depending on the game, the role may be extremely loose ended or potentially partially scripted. Another trait that all Dastardly Deeds Games share is that winning is not always cut and dry. The matter of who wins any game is relatively subjective and based of the circumstances of how the game plays out. As for game length, rules, style, theme, number of player, setting, and concept, almost every game is entirely unique.

A: While there is no expressly required age for enjoying Dastardly Deeds Murder Mysteries, the adult themes and concepts are not intended for persons under the age of 18. That being said, if you find some of the undoubtedly scandalous subject content acceptable, the overall complexity of the games doesn’t preclude younger players from participating.

A: With every Dastardly Deeds Murder Mysteries game, you can expect to receive everything you need to host the game in-person or online depending on what the game is designed for. You will also receive everything you will need to send to your players for them to play. The only thing required to host a game that isn’t included in your purchase is access to a video platform for online games and paper and printing materials for in person games.

A: It all began when we started to run out of murder mystery games from other providers. A: Yes! All Dastardly Deeds Murder Mysteries receive multiple playtests from (usually) inebriated players and hosts. This means that if you recreate the scenario and add in a splash of aqua vitae, or intoxicant of your choice, you are all but assured an accurate and hilarious play-through of any of our games.

A: Due to the nature of our games, it’s very common place that you may be put in a scenario where you are playing someone with a different culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, creed, gender or view of the world. Remember, at the end of the day murder mystery games are a chance to explore other characters and attempt to understand how they react in different situations. It’s all acting, and as long as you don’t portray yourself in an overtly offensive way to the players you are gaming with, everything should be taken for what it is, acting.
