Two days before the brewer’s meet-up for the night-before party and judging, one of Devon’s blind and mute workers discovered a large object floating in the cask of the signature beer they were planning to premier. After calling a bartender, it was confirmed to be Devon’s body, which had been lifeless in the cask for an unknown amount of time. Devon’s current spouse, Sam, was immediately called and they convened for a meeting with the brewer’s for the competition. Sam told the competing brewers that the police were not to be involved until after the competition, claiming it is what Devon would have wanted. This news was obviously met with mixed reactions all around. Sam also said that with how the brewery was locked down this was almost definitely no accident. Devon had no shortage of enemies going into this and if anyone in the competition was involved, Sam would discover it and they would learn why the brewery got its name…
